went over to aunty nancy's place fer dinner.turns out that i was the only "young" one. only got my parents, aunty nancy couple and uncle jimmy couple. so sat down, had dinner and listened to them talked. pretty interesting. shit, does it make me sound old? okie lar, they talked abt work, abt travelling haas, after listening to their talk, found that the world's really deformed. okie, first they talked abt china. doing business in china. it was a common understanding that now china's full of business opportunities. face it, everyone wants to benefit from her. thus, they talked abt how many many ppl went into a business venture in china. however, they play by their rules, not yours. u're just their prey. corruption, speculating, finding law's loopholes, play by these loopholes, offering unbelievable low prices. outside players just couldnt win them. look wat happened to spore's govt investment in suzhou. and how they'll always find reasons(though more like creative excuses) to counter ur questionings. then, they talked abt india. heard that it was even worse. even more corruptions, and the caste system they haf in their traditions arent really doing them any good. one in the lower class will nv succeed, or be recognised due to this system. a pity. and there's many beggars on the streets, ever-changing taxi fares. they'll just change their mind as and when they like. a sad thing to note, these are two of the oldest civilisation in the world. it became one of the most complicated, chaotic environment to venture into. the security, the govt system... its now getting harder to differeniate wat's right and wrong, wat u shld or shld not do. the world's rules are always changing. "the fittest survive" proved to be the phrase that represented both the animal kingdom and the human world. how much further can we deteriorate? until the point when its impossible to differentiate us from animals? beats me. |
