well, i must be insane. during this period, promo period, i'm actually re-reading harry potter and the half-blood prince. and i'm kinda hooked onto it. it never seems too boring in reading hp books. credits to J.K Rowling. so, if i flunk my promos, u'll know who to blame. HA!anyway, re-reading it makes me think deeper into the story. well, for the majority of the public, they all know snape killed dumbledore. re-reading it makes me search for any hint or clues which indicates snape killed dumbledore for the order. its hard to fathom what snape or dumbledore or actually, wat J.K rowling is thinking abt. BUT! i've got some ideas or excuses for snape. dun blame me, but i honestly think snape isnt on the dark side. but it scares me to think how this story is going to end. so many people have been dying in the last 3 books, and each story are getting darker and darker. esp for the 5th book, chao political. so how much longer can harry potter be classified around children's fantasy, where it is actually very much beyond children's entertainment? if you look at the matter from other point of view, it may not be such a bad thing afterall. it shows children the reality, where it takes courage to hold on to what you believe, things which are morally right. the correct path is certainly not the easiest way out. however, it keeps you sane. sacrifices have to be made at times to put things right. and most importantly, the point which is repeatedly mentioned in the book, love is the most powerful weapon one could ever have. i do wish that the following book, good will trumiph over the bad without anymore sacrifices. afterall, the prophecy states that either harry or voldemort will die in the end. it's good that in this book, it is mentioned that prophecy isnt necessary true. it is what we choose to believe shapes us into what we're going to be. pg476 of the book onwards if you wanna read abt it...(: which i greatly encourage. so much for hp, its been a real treasure and gift that pleasure could be found in reading. it certainly takes off some stress. muhaha, but self control must be exerted to pull myself back to my notes and tutorials. bleahs! sink deeper into the world of fantasy |
