due to our little conference call yesterday night, waiting for dear little jason to call in(AND HE DIDNT!), i woke up in a grouchy mood due to a lack of sleep. my dad was going like"carmen....hei son lar(wake up lar in cantonese)" then "8.20 le! zhong um hei son? (still dun wake up in canto) then "CARMEN POON! HEI SON LAR, GOEI UM HEI SON NEY JI GAY SIGH WOON ARH?!" (if u dun wake up u wash the breakfast dishes) then naturally i opened my eyes...but still tiredness got better of me, i went back to slp. but the next thing i noe, my mom was shaking me. "hei son, hei son, hei son, hei son!" den i have no choice but to climb out of bed. my dad saw me at the breakfast table and shot me a daggers look, den went on to rattle abt how late i slp, how unwilling am i to wake up on weekends, how biased am i for the fact he ask me to wake up so many times and i dun budge and the fact that my mom call me once den i woke up, etc.... heh... jealousy got better of him. but den he HAS to watch some taiwan news channel and yeah, they're discussing abt how outragous the SOGO vouchers case. darn. its obvious he accepted it, thru the hands of his wife. his wife used 270 000 worth and apparently there's still around 100 000 dunno go where. and the prosecuter said it would be too much a hassle to find out where those voucher gone coz the witness isnt cooperative. and the first lady got off the charges coz she's not any political figure. she's just the wife of the president, so by accepting the vouchers doesnt mean she's corrupting. WHAT THE BUGGER! i mean how much more corrupted can taiwan politics be? and then they ppl are apparently asking them to trace down where the 100 000 dollar vouchers gone. my mom then said "wat's the point? even if the 100 000 is discovered to be in ah bian's possession, they cant do anything. the law is obviously on ah bian's side now. truth is manupilated? they cant do anything! and the president cant be charged for these kind of crime wat.." den my dad said " after 20 months, ah bian will be a president no more.. den by then they can go after him..." well, but my dad added that ah bian is now trying to change that law, gonna change it to they cant go after him for crimes he commited during the time he's the president within these 20 months. how despicable. i used to think that only in dramas, then the baddies could get away scot free. i mean i tot even other countries can sue ah bian since taiwan's not being fair. but my dad said for independent country, other country could not be involved in their trials or whatsoever. so are we just gonna sit here and see ah bian get away wif EVERYTHING?! my blood boils everything i think abt it. does this mean if you wanna corrupt, make sure you get all the big figures into the picture, and if someone were to sue you, all the big figures will support you so that they wouldnt get discovered too? GUIDE TO CORRUPTION 1. dun corrupt with SMALL FRIES, they couldnt provide much support 2. be damn THICK SKIN 3. always question the people back (e.g WO AH BIAN YOU CUO MAH?) 4. be a lawyer yourself. you'll be able to find loopholes in law 5. compare the present state wif something worse.. like comparing how MUCH LESSER corrupted u are than the PREVIOUS PRESIDENT (bearing in mind initially the ppl chose u coz they think you WUN CORRUPT) 6. always go back on your words, give excellent empty promises yup, you can come up wif a AH BIAN'S GUIDE TO CORRPUTION eh... i can help you edit and design the cover page. the coverpage will haf captions "100% foolproof. a guide spoken from real experience. tested and succeeded in taiwan."
