today's the 21st wedding aniversary for my parents. heh. u can say that i'm a MAJOR lightbulb but i went dinner with them to celebrate. though i've tried to excuse myself (ermmm, i DID okay?!), they said they wanted me to be there too. :) as i'm part of their God blessed marriage life. well, rlly have to thank God for all his blessings. my family is certainly a very fortunate one and my parents are still as loving as ever. heh.btw, it's WANG LEE HOM'S BDAY TODAY.... and SHUREI'S BDAY too! happy birthday to u two. haha. and my third uncle's bday too. hee. just called him though. any today just got my gp essay. my teacher said it was pretty well done as i had quite a large scope and quite alot of examples. well, the essay was on fantasy films and stories and i was supposed to discuss abt its appeal and value. well, i must admit that the credit was certainly not mine. not that i copied the essay but most of the information was actually taught to me instead of me doing my own research. like our dear Bingshun, he has taught me a grt deal on info and messages behind movies and how to watch a movie with a purpose which helped me gathered alot of info without researching on them. and also equipped me with some movies which was built on religion background. (starwars, etc) kayee told me abt journey to the west was to mock china's political state at one time, and my secondary sch music cum english cum choir teacher helped me to build my general knowledge quite alot. he certainly taught me alot on backgrounds of phantom of the opera and lord of the rings and much much more. he's none other than mr melvin lee. due to some unhappy incidents, he has left sch, and we've lost contact. but upon doing this essay, it makes me think abt him alot, and the ppl around me who taught me alot. A GREAT THANKS TO YOU GUYS. other than the ppl mentioned above, those who know me, believe me, everyone of u out there have moulded me into who i am today. no matter how minor and little is our interaction with each other, i have certainly learnt stuff from u guys. so haha, thanks. abit random, keep on thanking ppl today, but the essay made me reflect on how much i have benefited from others and reminds me to count my blessings from God. not trying to be cocky but just thankful. hee. shall continue to work hard. strive onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. haha |
