surprisingly, out all bands, one of my fav is actually linkin' park. yup, they're noisy, heavy metal but its the spirit and attitude that they put into their music which makes me enjoy them. and their mtvs, haha, it was amazing how their mtv connects to the content of their songs. classic ones like "crawling" and "somewhere i belong" mtvs was rlly impressive, and its done by the only ASIAN guy in their band. haha. and good news is that their most recent album isnt that heavy metal ?! though i heard alot of ppl saying they're losing their touch, this wasnt as good as the previous albums, but on contrary, i enjoy this album as much as i've enjoyed the previous 2. and it was nice hearing the guy sing normally instead of screaming into the mic. haha, maybe i dunno how to appreciate the kind of emotions that was put in while screaming into the mic, but singing the words properly enabled me to hear and think thru the lyrics as i listened to the song. now this is one of my favourite:

another album which i think is quite good is definitely mika's Life In Cartoon Motion. well, i dun know much abt him but i think he has a unique voice and his songs are....fun! fun to listen to. i like his grace kelly alot too. u shld check out the mtv of that song. it was rlly like walking into a...mess. haha. but it was entertaining. heh. but his album isnt all abt cartoon or playing, having fun. there are also blues, ups and downs in the song, but it has a cheeky element in his songs which i think it could brighten one's day. it sounds though he's sad, he's optimistic. heh.
