i am super full and it's already 1 plus.....arh....die, confirm fat-ed. okay....hanging around...and had the luxury of using comp lor.okay, i admit last night was abit.... hm...moody. but just frustrated at how things were going. thankfully, as esther assured me, things went on sort of fine... but yst was quite touched. as i picked up my luggage, i used the courtsey phone to phone my uncle to find out what bus to take to grandma's place. to my surprise, they said jasper was there to pick me up:) caught up abit with him on the way to grandma's place but nevertheless, abit awkward. and initially, was finding cantonese hard to understand at the 7-11 store. they speak so fast! omygosh. i was like "huh...?" while topping up my optopus. i think i looked like some retard or country pumpkin until jasper had to step in and "translate" for me. he just spoke at a slower pace. raars. dun laugh! this morning was rlly a close shave. stupid body clock made me wake up at 650. darn....then slack in bed and still woke up at 8 in the end. then went over to my grandma's place. i rang the doorbell and no one responded. the neighbouring uncle say "o, the popo and the indonesian maid just left...." i was like .... no key back to my aunt's place. so i was thinking, cham, will need to hang around the door until my grandma comes back. no key, no wallet, no nothing. thankfully my uncle who's staying with my grandma woke up esp to open the door for me. feel abit apologetic as he slps very late at night to wait for his wife one(his wife is a journalist. usually knocks off around 11-12 at night and start work at 1 in the afternoon). hoho, then i got to use the comp and drank coffee till abt 10am? then the maid came back and said we'll pick grandma up at 1030. went marketing with maid and grandma after picking her up from the yum cha place. went to trim my hair and my grandma went to wash her hair there(like huh....go there just to wash??) by the time we finished, was almost 3. then afternoon tea-ed with my grandma and my cousins. ooo....not light afternoon tea at all lor. then at 430, we went back up to the hse, i rlly buay tahan le. napped from 430 to 650. then guess what? dinner time. ARGH!!! i hardly felt hungry. siao, ordered alot lor. but the soup was NICE!!! bacon+chicken+something else(one of those chinese dried goods) soup. the taste was so rich! and had sweet and sour pork, cooked with STRAWBERRIES! haha, my fav 2 dishes of the night. jasper tried to tempt me to drink beer....nay, i stuck to tea. miss my parents. again. haha, but well, it's getting better, i feel more comfortable with relatives today. not tt awkward. heh. tml's gonna yum cha for breakfast and lunch. my gosh. guess i might skip dinner. if not, bao si, then by the time i come back, you guys wun recognise me, then sad si. i miss my besties too. haha. would be better if ida's here and yx, like ages nv see you leh... keep me updated abt ur study plans okay? esther just filled me with half the story.... i'll keep u in my prayers:) cy, peili and cheryl, countdown, 5 more days! |
