maybe the week was packed with too much things...looking back at my previous post, all the events that i've mentioned seemed to be so long ago. haha. i barely rmb the taste of the pork ribs at auntie elsa's bbq....darn...well, clementi-ed this whole week....so i've got to wake up half an hour later than i did for the past 3 months. woohoo...but dunno where will i be posted to next week lar...sian yi ban. was fun always being able to chat with gladys and sherlyn during work time. sherlyn will be filling us in with what her daughter knows abt ntu courses, etc. gladys arh....maybe she felt more familiarised with me already....aiyo....rlly being psyhco at times, singing to herself loudly. haha. had an eventful lunch on tuesday. scared half of my life away. i thought i was going to be sick. was eating a water apple during lunch and suddenly, i find it taste weird. like sour sour like tt. then i pulled the water apple away from me and look. the "xin"heart of the fruit colour abit weird. then i decided the tear the remaining fruit into half. OOOOOO! SAW 3 WHITE WORM-LIKE CREATURES ON THE FRUIT!!! XIA SI WO LE! literally jumped up and threw the fruit away. though i only tasted the tip of the rotten part, but arh....i strongly suspect i might have swallowed a worm? or maggot? cause it's rlly small....EWWWW. but nothing happen leh...no lao sai, no fainting, no nothing. and i got my appetite back by night time. had steamboat buffet at sunset way somemore. die. destined to be fat. my mom tried to console me by saying tt shows i have the making of being a nurse---> not being turned off by disgusting stuff.... yup, i hear you laugh. WHAT A LOUSY CONSOLATION! and peili just called me on wed....asking if i'm gonna take a flu jab since there's a outbreak of flu in hk. honestly speaking, i have nv thought that going back to hk is gonna be dangerous. hm....so i'm still pondering whether to take the jab anot. it's 25 bucks. neh neh. but sherlyn was saying i shld take it or else i might be requested to isolate myself at home for 10 days after my trip......not tt i mind. HAHA. no work is good what...just tt my pay will be gone...no pay...:( then twinkle, kat and esther came over on thurs to bake. heh. failed quite terribly this time for the cookies. we doubled the amt of all our ingredients last week but apparently, the beater couldnt mix such a big lump of stuff well tgt.....so.....it's as hard as rock. so butter cookies renamed rock sugar cookies. :) but the brownie cupcakes tt kat taught us to make turned out well....but terribly sinful, used up 8 ounce of hersheys choc syrup plus 1 cup of sugar and cocoa powder....wah....rich until lao sai.... bestie, dun worry, we could always bake again and peili, i'll try to send u my baking schedule so u can fit it in ur timetable to come over and eat it all up. haha. but dun blame me if u're putting on weight. fri went for halfday work then headed to church for worship camp. very technical. ha. and was talking to caifang and she say she could arrange a free haircut for me with her hairdresser(student working in toni and err...i forgotten the shop's name. HA) but he's only free on mn 6pm at KATONG! abit far....abit lazy....so still thinking shld i go anot.... raars. yup. then caught up alittle with zhenliang. i rlly find him VERY MUCH taller than he use to be... we were standing up and sharing bible(he was holding it)...it's the first time i felt the bible so near to my face. it was like going cock-eye while reading the scripture. woohoo...then he had to lower the bible so i could get back my focus. arh...to think he was shorter than me when soar first started and i could put my hand on his shoulder when we take photo. now.....hai.....abit too tall....abit straining on my part....   stayed over at esther's place last night with kat lor. had home-cooked soba. heh. bought all sauce and noodle from cold storage....and it turned out well....i shld go shopping at cold storage. and found tt she had apple cider vinegar at her place! haha, though she insisted it tasted like fermented apple, i rlly like the fragrance leh....okay, I DUN LIKE ROTTING THINGS OKAY? it rlly tasted good. has taste of honey okay? so......yup. had the apple cider mixed with water drink and soba. went well...though i recalled eating cold noodles with apple cider vinegar and plum vinegar at peili's place. wanted to try last night but i decided not to scare esther any further by harping on the apple cider vinegar being delicious. originally-planned movie screening was called off so informally lar....we ended up talking over the table after wolfing down the soba and forgotten all abt the movies we decided to watch. before we knew it, it was 12.15am and i decided to bathe. but tell u arh, bathing rlly makes u tired one leh. after i bathed, i felt so slpy. i hanged ard, drying my hair and talking to kat while esther bathed. then....i forgot what happened....next time know was hearing isacc's alarm ringing away. then i looked ard, esther and kat is already awake and it was morning. wo ho. dejavu. haha. scary. okay, i know not rlly dejavu but like dejavu lar.....just tt it's caused by slpiness. went to nus open hse today, asked abt nursing. they only take in 75 students.:( so little. but they say grades doesnt matter(yesH!) but need to clear the interview. hai. wish me luck. submitted application to both nus and ntu today. hopefully can get accepted. crossing my fingers now. wo, quite a long entry eh. heh, tt's all for the whole week! |
